I forgot to take a pic of the original battery along side my Lithium one. But lets just say if it's not 1/3 the size and about 1/4 of the weight. it's amazingly lighters and must save a good few KG. I'm unsure how heavy the original is but the one I have is less than 900grams

have got my carbon clock mount, and I think I will need to mod it a bit to allow for the tilt sensor on the front like you have done

Thought I would spend a short time trial fitting the bodywork. well seeing how it went on. I've not fitted the underside but all the rest went on in about 5 mins. again only placed on

Only issue I have at the moment is the rear unit which is too tight and won't fit without a bit of modding. But seems all the other areas line up to the screw holes :) I like it

last pic shows how the top will not go over the plastic lip. it's tight under the bottom so a bit of modding is needed so it will quickly be added or removed

Remal the rear will go over this plastic lip mate mine did on the 12 mine looked like it wouldn't but squeeze 2 sides together it will go over and when you drill the rear the 2 only mounting points are underneath they bolt to the most forward of the 4 bolts you need to squeeze together then drill so the under tray goes back on as when you remove the tray it widens well mine did . It will go over this lip and once over becomes quite moveable again

cheers Wedge, I've removed the undertray and will have another try. Still my only concern is taking the front wiring off the original nose and putting it back onto the bike. Seems the carbon clock unit does not have access for the tilt sensor so Will need to make something up was the front cage you had made up or from SES?

Hi buddy yeah I took rear original under tray off and the lock key part and take the crc under tray off .I brought a second hand front loom of yorkshiregooner mark and stripped it down so its just got tilt and speedo wires that's it that way I unplug my complete front original nose with everything I have a hrc bracket that fits to the 2 holes what are left from removing original cowl there are 2 stubby push in to line headlight up it bolts to there I see your carbon one does not have this but all you need mate is a simple brace on the back of your unit out of 2mm alloy and a block with 2 holes to bolt your tilt to it

    cheers Bud,

Next question. I gather I use the original bolts to hold the CRC fairing on? I have the quick fasteners to hold the crc togeather but looks like the original bolts are needed to hold the fairing onto the bike?

and seems modding is going to need to be done for the side stand. I seen how you cut and fiber glassed yours for your side stand. I was hoping that I could just remove the side stand, cut a hole and fit it back it back on

Na no worries mate the rear fairing only holds on with 2 tabs underneath yes use original bolts for this there is 4 under there that holds a brace only use 2.

Belly pan all original bolts to be used.

Side fairings i used these you will need to buy a pair of dsuz fastners also apart from these brackets as original only plastic mate. Then im gonna buy just 2 button heads 1 each side and use the original wing mirror mount.

    honda cbr1000rr fireblade 2008 / 2012 race side fairing brackets cbr600rr HRC | eBay

As for the side stand you need the space for the swoosh of the stand when put down swoosh probs not right word ha ha . You will need to cut as i did on my pics also taking a sticking out corner off as stand cant retract just under rear bolt then make this dip in . Really hard to explain mate. But when my fairings back from paint im gonna fit make sure my belly pan mod works if it does send me the belly pan ill do it for you cut fibre glass and filler for nowt mate.

Your a star, I'm happy to fiber glass the part and the BIL is handy with the stuff also. But many thanks for the offer.

Not 100% sure where the side race faring brackets come in though, from last night seems the fairing will fit on the end, by your knees onto the original bracket, and also on the screen. Where does this come into play? IE: what part of the fairing will it hold?
