A good run is nip / meet at Hawes, then over to Manor cafe which is heading East, then you can do a decent loop via Ripon / Masham / Pooley Bridge back towards Skipton / Gisburn and get back west.
Al that route would be perfect for me. Especially if we stopped for a cheeky one at the blacksheep brewery.
Shame this is not set for tomorrow, weather mint and sods law states next weekend it could be rubbish! And visit to blacksheep never bad shout - will bring my ventura and stock up, just ask Gary and Steve how much my 'small' bag' got in it last week from the supermarket
I have to put my cock on the block and say subject to weather I will be doing Crossgates as I have just had a run to Whitehaven on Sunday and its a fair old trek up there again .
If this ends up being a very western ride out (hats and chaps) can i suggest us eastern folk- fez ash rich etc. Consider a meet anyway somewhere?
Yes Crossgates is in Wales , but not deepest Wales , Maybe better ride out and nearer for you Yorkshire folk , Llangollen , corwen, Bala, Dolgellau , llanfair caereinion , Oswestry , ellesmere , chippy Whitchurch , Should be at Whitchurch by 3pm if meeting at say 8.30 / 9ish. Only a option , sorry Garyb , just thinking of distance for others .
Was at crossgates n surrounding area on w.end just gone, the fabulous road from newton - crossgates has been resurfaced in quite few places n add to that lovely new shell grip on sum of the fast flowing bends, made for a fabulous spirited ride id join ya guys but am going hiking in the peak district
Is hawes too far out the way for some of you? What about considering snake pass/buxton area? thats bang on in the middle of all of us
