Well I am in the same boat as mark, ash and rich. Hawes will be fine for me but im affraid anything further s/w and im out. If all of you west coast boys decide on a run to wales then I am happy to meet up with all the yorkshire folk and go for a ride somewhere else
That's just the Job Fez. Looking at the thread it's very close. Even now it's apparent there's enough for a nice little group either way. I guess it's easier for me than most, end of the M55 and it's an hour either left or right, peeps coming from the outskirts of Cheshire/Lancashire/Yorkshire it's that little bit more difficult given the time scale with daylight hours, but we have to squeeze every ounce we can. If we get three groups off this would be great, not ideal as the idea is to meet everyone, but great all the same that a ride out happens.

Yeah last time I was there it was covered in the POpo tbf. Would be good for us all to meet somewhere central next year tho. ORganise a proper forum meet with a few months notice.

Here is a Northern route to link East and West as an idea / option http://goo.gl/maps/XC1dz Does look like Crossgates is popular option from the Poll but from York area etc. its just too far to be an option, similar way that perhaps lunch at Leyburn / Manor Cafe is too far from Chester / North Wales The above route is 91 miles from Settle to Skipton (plus your miles at Start / End)
Id say Stratford upon avon central for most on here north n south of watford gap, the southerners cud get their passports n jabs done just near watford gap
A proper forum meet means a weekend job , meet Saturday, ride out , few drinks and meal in the evening Find a hotel/b&b for the night , and ride back on the Sunday .
Crossgates is a good run. I did it last year from just south of Kendal. 390 miles round trip. Boring motorway to start/finish with. I hope my joints are up to it again.
