I will look at the weather for tom in the morning, but fully expect to be there. Just a little concerned that some of the roads will have been gritted?
Grit won't be a problem unless you brake hard on it and if you don't give yer bike a good rinse afterwards. If you are coming down the A21, I will at the 1066, A21,near Robertsbridge by 1100 hours , unless it's icy. If you are coming down the A28, I live in Northiam. I'll be leaving about 1045 if roads are good, otherwise I will wait till 1145.
Mega do you wanna meet at Kent motorcycles as nutty and blade65 are out as well it would be easier for all ?
No mate, Kent Motorcycles is nowhere near me and I am meeting 5 other people off my local forum at 1100 to 1200hrs !
Hi mate, Just a quick note to be careful about info like this on the board, better in a pm, there are a lot of dodgy ppl about y'know
Cheers mate. Well I waited till 1200 for someone to turn up. Tucker had already texted me. Got sick of waiting ,so me n 7 other locals rode to Rye, did the Camber road and having a coffee at the Oasis.
Sorry mate, I was in contact with tucker this morning and assumed he was speaking with you. It was both icy and wet down my way this morning, so decided against. I did text tucker and thought he was still meeting you. Hope you had a good one mate - it pixxed down her about 11.30 so glad I didn't risk it, what with the bike having not been weather proofed yet. Hope to meet next time! Mick
Left the Oasis, did the Brenzett, Appledore and Canal roads , back to Rye for a chat and we all headed home. Just got in after rinsing the bike. Will rinse again and dry it a bit later. Cracking rideout and funnily enough nobody else out? Will be doing the same on New Years day as I am working that night so won't have a hangover!!!
Sorry mega I did text everyone saying that it was very slippery out I thought I did send you one as well
Got your text Tucker and replied. No others though, so thought they were turning up. Nutty has my number? No probs anyway, still managed a good rideout.
Well I got to the first meeting place at Kent M/C then got Tuckers txt saying he wasn't gonna make it . I spent a little time there having a good look at the new Blade On the way there I also discovered that there were some nasty bits of road out there . So I kept to the main roads and had a little ride then headed home and gave the bike a thorough rinse to remove the salt . There was only one other bike that turned up at KMC while I was there and I didn't see any others at all on my rideout . Glad you managed a ride too
