I ride on my own 90% of the time, I have a young family and they take up most of the weekends etc, I may steal away an hour or so to get out but generally a whole day ride out is a no no :(

I do most of my riding through the week to work and back taking the long way around, its 13 miles to work some days it can be 100 ? strange :D

I like going out with 1 mate who has the self preservation gene, I know what he is going to do and vice versa.... how ever I have been out with others who seem determined to kill themselves and me and I would rather pull over and let them crack on when that happens !

Watch out for the lone bike tagging on to the back of your group or seeming to entice you in to a spot racing (particularly if the bike is black). Kent police and other forces are known to use this tactic to snare bikers.

Beware of white helmets and sit up and beg riding positions on bog standard bikes :)
