Anybody doing a course on 18th June? I am going to premier again don't think I am quite good enough for elite yet.
Done the premier in the pouring rain, but rocket Ron went past like I was stood still. Also done the elite course at Silverstone and binned on stowe, does so much for your confidence. They kndly let me get back on, not being a twat during the day. That changed me from a Daytona doing track days onto my blade, so comfortable, so easy to ride. The converted,,

I did the On Track and Premier classes on the same day in 2008 at Donington Park 6 months after passing my test. I really enjoyed the day especially by the end of the Premier course and I would love to do the Elite but I need to redo the Premier first.
Just got back from doing the Premier course today which was better than I expected, actually. It's basically a 1/2 day TD with 1:2 instruction (and with proper instructors rather than the kind you get with No Limits!) and bike & full kit hire for £289. Wow, Donington is such a great track! What a blast. As it was the first school of the year we had brand-spanking new 600RRs and Blades delivered from Honda. Zero miles on the clock so the instructors had to 'run them in' (trans: race them round Donny at full pelt for 100 miles ). The Elite course on the Blades is tempting! That's a 3 hour open pitlane with you and your own instructor and full datalogging - speeds, gears and revs at each part of the track. They also have Ron's 'perfect lap' on a Blade logged so will overlap that onto yours to see what the difference is!!

I'm 10.55 2nd July. Premier. Three of us are doing it. Looking forward to having some fun and building my corner confidence.
We had an early morning slot for all of 1 day! Phoned up booked n paid n the last thing she said before goodbye was that will be 8am sign on time goodbye...........click! Yeah that early start played on my mind n it was decided that was getting changed to afternoon session which is what I done phoned back the next day n got signing on time changed! Happy days!
