I have always been aware that my gearbox is a bit "loud" from 1st to third gear and i also have the issue of it not going into 6th first time when giving it the beans (bike has done 4500 miles) Just recently i have done a couple of short rides without earplugs, it clunks very loudly into first gear, so loud it actually startled a woman sat in her car at traffic lights, 2nd and 3rd are clunky, 4th and 5th sweet as no clunks, no noises, nothing, then theres the issue of selecting 6th when under load. I thought originally it may just be bad clutch control etc from me but it clunks all the time, the 6th gear issue occasionally, i have gone over to silkolene fully synth 10w 40 as i hoped this may help but appears to have done nothing. chain tension, oil type, linkage setup, shift support?, rider ergonomics, rearset configuration etc etc Arthur please be kind enough to expand on this, in laymans terms (i'm not mechanically minded), my bikes going into the dealers on April 14th for some warranty work maybe i can get them to have a look at this too, but it would help if i had an inkling of what i'm talking about. Thank you
