Lots of very useful info, thanks a lot, i will see what comes up and i will travel, having a '' gentlemans express '' is not an issue at all as i ride like '' Miss Daisy '' !!! I don't want too much of a race focused bike so maybe the RR5 is the one to go for anyway, also i do like the Repsol colours as well so a nice RR5 in orange could just fit the bill until i can stretch to an RR10 in Repsol.

Good luck mate, the rr4+ is an ace bike! And when you think what you get for the money how can you go wrong, hope you find a nice one.

I have a very tidy 03 ZXR 636 for sale checkout the bikes for Sale Section on hear if your interested, oh and I m in Manchester so not a million miles away.

Seperate note I had a 954 back in 05 and was absoultely the best bike ever and I still wish I had it now. If only I had'nt dropped it I would be riding now for sure. they've not got the top end of the current litre crop of IL4's but it would stay with my mates ZX10R on the road and we were'nt hanging around. Stunning brakes, thanks to 330mm discs and although not radial calpiers equal if not better than any bike I have ridden including my current RR8 Blade with Brembo 19 x 18 MC and Hel Braided lines. Handled superbly if a little softly sprung and damped but Kais sorted that out for me and any bike of that vintage whether RR3 or RR5 is going to need a suspension overhaul now. Oh and its 10kg lighter than the RR5 and you notice that in the twisties. Could'nt recommend the RR3 highly enough and thats why they go for similar money to RR5's if you can find a good one for sale. People who have'em don't want to sell em is normally the case. It was the pinnacle of 11 years refinement of the 900 Blade.

Hi Hudson, I went from an RR1 to an RR5 and I have to say if its not out and out racing performance you are looking for I would say the RR1 was a better bike?

I know what you are all going to say but I enjoyed my riding on the old bike more so that the 5? Take a look at my pics you will see them both.

Cheers for that, i don't mind the RR1 but they are getting on a bit now, i find the RR5 and newer just appear to be more like the newer bikes regarding build and general kit and modern build techniques, an RR1 is 10 years old and i don't really wish to go that old.
