Didn't know anything about the hp4, just had a little look and living the colour scheme.... Although never been a fan since I rode the first evo 1000rr as I wasn't loving the gizmos, but I'd take one of these out for a ride anyway Freedom - think they might be upping the prices / offering two models... Just found this, not sure if reliable but interesting... Personally of it's duke money and I was in the Market - I'd go red
I have to read reports stuffed full of this graph and that graph, it looks like its might be from German origin, it’s the same kind of style even if the wording is a mix of Spanish and English. Posicionamiento means positioning if you didn’t work it out the rest is easy enough.
Forgot to add that I am only looking at options for a new bike next spring, I have said before that my next bike will most probably be my last superbike. So I might as well go out on a high before moving onto something a bit more, well you know, my age. It was going to be a Panigale but it’s really just not floating my boat at the moment. The MV might could be another option?. I might just go for another black ABS blade, or keep what I have. Who knows?
through the context of the graph i guessed that did mean that mate yes - even with my limited Linguistic skills!!
Next time you’re in bed with the Mrs and you are holding your little pee pee, wriggling around trying to decide what to do with it to make sure you get the most out of it but also ensuring that your Mrs will also want it. You with me so far Dave? Well, this is what BMW are doing with their little pee pee or as they like to call it 1000RRS.
I feel i have to mention my friend Paul who is now on his 3rd s1000rr as bmw have had to buy the 2 previous ones back because of all the problems he's had!!
I know on track they have shown to be very fragile, gearboxes seem to be weak maybe down to the naff OEM shifter who knows, CastrolCraig would be the man to ask he's involved with track and race bikes and could say what problems he's seen...
With the first one he had a nightmare! G/box failure, traction failure, Rad leaked etc i could go on, In the end he was so pissed off they offered him a brand new bike! One day after picking up brand new bike, back to bmw it went, porous engine casings, they offered him 3 options, new casings, new engine or another new bike! so new bike no 3. Hes actually just sold this one and gone back to ducati.
Scary thing about the BMW is the labour rate (plus VAT) or around £80 an hour I think - and I think lots of things can only be done by a BMW service place / garage - they are not really holding their value I don't think.
BMW fitted a PCV to one bike I look after, without O2 eliminators and no base map? They also charged 300 odd to do that and fit a full Akrapovic... Guess you pay for the name...
The bm i rode last week must of been a pig because todays one was like a different bike. Hence for sale pcv, k&n, Yoshi r77 carbon race. Honda smoked db screen with repsol decal repsol solo seat, carbon hugger and chain gaurd and a gi pro gear indicator. Any one have any iterest in these parts give me a shout.
12k for a pre reg to bm that has had recall work done. still comes on a 62 plate but has 1 extra owner
Nice one Tim - hear the 2012 bikes ride more like a blade as the re-tuned / de-tuned the engine for mid range / road riding grunt as the expense of a little top end. WHen I rode a 2010 one it felt a bit flat / gutless in general use till it really hit the high revs then it flew! Well done on the deal - a base model with ABS then add an HM QS could be a good way into S1000rr ownership - but for re-sale its gotta be a Sport
The said they didnt have any that weren't sport ones in uk not sure about that but goto be a sport just for the hell of it.
