Phantom not sure if I am getting another blade, gonna wait for a while and see what happens.

With regards to the police my frustration is more on a strategic level and not with any officers individually as I know how hard the job is and how much is asked of officers nowadays.
In an ideal world I would have liked this response; SNT get the cctv footage from the gym within a couple of days (not two weeks), then they follow the cctv on the main roads and where possible to follow where they took the bike in a van or if it was moped pushed, kind of like they did in the August riots last year, it took time but they got lots of the rioters eventually, of course for a bike theft this amount of time and effort does not happen and is saved for serious crimes with good reason, its just a shame there are not more specialist teams to deal solely with bike thefts, oh well maybe one day hey.

    Until then...

    Hi mate,

Just signed up and saw about the theft of the bike.

No idea of you are in a postion to replace, but Hunts in Manchester have an identical 59 plate ABS bike, 6k miles 100% standard and mint for about £8k

I've seen it and was mega tempted myself - message me if you want any more details but think its on huntsmotorcycles.com - and they deliver for £49
