The hoses are all in for tooling.

Will be a few more weeks I would guess, normally 4-6 weeks for new tooling and hoses, let you know as soon as hear something,

So at the earliest I guess I'm looking at end of the month, maybe even half way through August. I'm praying for an Indian summer.

UPDATE!!

Just to let you know the kit is in full progress, many of the hoses actually are a little different not just the 4 but lots have slightly different shapes so we are having complete set of new tools made so everything is exact, due to this it would be quite important for us to hang on to your originals in-case we ever need to refer back, we will supply you a lifetime of support in-case you ever need a hose in the future so it will not matter you don’t have your oems as spares.

Let me know what you think and look forward to sending these to you very soon, yesterday they were making the tooling so really close now,

What do you think guys, should I let them keep my originals?

 

for a small fee/reimbursement/gift, then yeah why not. You seemed to have been quite patient so i personally think you should be rewarded!

 

I'm quite surprised that they don't have an original set from each bike anyway.
Surely you should get your set for free really, as I can only imagine the hassle your saving there customer service department in the long run.
And imagine what a new set of standard hoses would cost them if they had to buy them for tooling.

 

Agree with Andrew, it's the least they could do for you, many people would not have been as patient as you

I spoke to Richard @ Racebikebitz yesterday and he said he was hopeful that he should have some hoses for me next week

Ideal mate, did you get much of a deal in the end for sending them your old hoses?

 

Basically I get to keep my original kit to do what I want with, and a lifetime warranty with the hose kit they supplied.

They also threw in a set of hose wipes for me

Nice, you did well mate when I have some cash I will be in on a set my bikes over dew a coolant change so this winter I'm on it. Rekon I will have a Black set for the factory look..

I thought about going for the black, but then thought the red would blend with the red/black fairing.

On the down side, I managed to snap the mount on the radiator filler neck when fitting some of the hoses today

A trip to either Crowthorne or Farnham Honda to get a new one for me then..
