I'm in the middle of Africa at the moment, surfing the web for an air filter and seriously wondering if I'm crazy enough to be a member on this site I saw the Nigel article on Facebook a few days ago and never even shared it....even though I know a couple of the dying breed
And even more seriously - their surnames - one is Brown, the other is Black

I was thinking I knew this place but got mixed up between Evesham and Enysham. Only about 40 miles apart according to Google but I once knew the Carnival Queen from Enysham....very posh indeed with that Oxford accent and big words! A nice memory

Never been to Enysham, but with all we've got going around here, well, there's just no need. Also have our share of queens - and not only at carnival time.
