Not sure why... I wear mine in driving rain at motorway speeds and the only leaks I get are occasional drips via the vents... (Top vent drips on top of my head if it's open).

You sure you have the visor down? :)

I've been soaked several times in mine too, and as you say, the only moisture was from the vents, which I had not closed.

We'll guys, the lids arrived, it's stunning. But.....it's bloody tight!! Are you supposed to be able to get a finger between your forehead and the front of the helmet or something? My previous lid was a HJC rpha in large! but moved around a bit at higher speeds.
I'm sat in the lounge wearing it and worried I've bought the wrong size. Do they tend to give a bit?

I rekon if I could fit my finger between the liner and my noggin it would be far too loose. A snug fit is best as long as there's no pressure points (redness) when you take it off.

Yeah, there's redness across my forehead, that's what's worrying me. There's no movement in the lid at all. My HJC, moves backwards when I press on it and the front touches my nose, so I think that's too big, it's a large and the shoei is medium. I'm being paranoid as I smashed my skull in two places last year, so need to get this right incase the worse happens. Bothe J&S and helmet city did a fitting of the GT air and they both thought the large was a tad too big.

There shouldn't be any movement and you certainly shouldn't be able to get your finger between your head & the lid. My shoei was tight when I got it but has given quite a lot to the point of not being snug enough now & so it'll be getting binned shortly. Shoei do make different sized inner pads you can buy if you feel it's too tight though!

Cheers guys, so if I do try wearing it for a bit and it does become too painful, theres a way out then.....think I'll call helmet city in a couple of days and see if they can get the smaller pads. The face pads feel like their just right, but the bit around me skull does feel a bit too tight, but if don't want it moving like my HJC does.

I found the same issue with the GT Air,the large feels so tight when on it's uncomfortable even for a couple of minutes, not to mention it just about rips my ears off when removing the helmet. Strange as my NXR is a size large and fits perfectly and doesn't move around at any speed.
I tried the XL and it fits really nice so gonna go for that, and if it beds in and slackens a bit I can always go for the larger pads.
    Now,if i hadn't spent the money i had for it on a playstation 4:oops:
I'm hoping helmet city still have the colour and size in a few months, fingers crossed:rolleyes:

Not a happy bunny today boys, ordered a large too. So now, I have both on my table!! The large feels nice and comfortable, but I can start to get the tips of my fingers up the front, so I'm thinking it's too big..... The medium just feels a tad too small......fecking things.....never ordering a lid on line, lesson leant!!
