As above if you can stand to be without a bike sell yours privately before the summers up, then save what you can and seek out the best Repsol you can in the depths of winter. You might even be able to get a 09!

Try Cox Honda- They quoted me considerably less for a nose cone (Mines got a hole in it from a stone, Venture shield didn't work on that bad by)

I thought that yours were also from actuamarts as I'm sure I read it whilst searching were best to buy on here, back when hondo owned your bike.
I've slept since then tho. Lol

Yep the wheels are mixed with £300 fairings. My thinking at the time was the wheels can always have different spacers fitted and be taken forward if I change bikes tho

That's the way! The mods you have listed will make your RR5 a new bike and you will wonder why you ever considered changing it! Keep us posted on the developments.

the new one looks a cracker mate. was in similar predicament last year. had an 07 in hrc colours and loved the bike to bits but not in love with the colour. after much dithering and contemplating on converting mine ( mine wouldnt have looked right as mine had black frame and 07 repsol should be silver) or selling i took the plunge. was going to buy a mint 07 repsol or an 09 but was a grand or so short so needed to sell mine first. i shook hands on a deal on mine with a local guy who never came back with a deposit. everyone wanted it for peanuts so popped in to local honda dealer to get mine valued and ended up trading it in on a brand spanker as was offered a great deal against mine. took the zero interest option on the difference and picked it up a month before my 40th. my mate put down a deposit on what was to be the first repsol to come into cornwall dealers back in early 05 but got fed up with waiting and took a new r1 instead. ever since then i vowed i,d have 1 in the future. i know i,m biased but its such a stunning colour on a top sportsbike. enjoy it and welcome to the club!!;)
