Pink Floyd comfortably numb live at Knebworth

Ling’s out at a dinner in London, I feel crap and needed a lift, so sat back, maxed the volume and enjoy.

One of the best live band performances I have ever heard, Richard and I off our tits in the pouring rain at Knebworth No other track gets close to blowing what little brains I have. Gilmore’s solo gets right into my soul.

My old mum just phoned and said “turn that bloody music down” funny that she’s 120 miles away, good job our house is all on its own.

Oh yes. DG he is the man. I also went to see Floyd back in the 80's at Earls court, light show was incredible. DG was the inspiration that got my lad Dan to talk up the guitar, he's not bad at it either. I have some brilliant times with him in his room blasting out classic solos. His favourite and he had got it down spot on was the below: have to say I refer the slower version.

Yep the Gary Moore version is definitive. When I first started playing with a guitar I was way too impatient while learning so used to just learn the solo's of my favourite heroes. Funny as fcuk, just being able to play 30 seconds at a time of Stevie Ray, Joe Walsh and James Taylor then have to switch over to Knopfler, Richards and Ronson (Mick not Mark) for another half a minute. Solos were where all the cool was.

Knopfler, now there's another master but not so keen now he has gone a country style. Much prefer the old Dire Straits stuff. Although his first few solo album weren’t bad.

Brothers in arms is another classic.

I went to Hammersmith Palais to see them when they filmed the Alchemy album. I didn't get how a band could play so note perfect live.

Always made me chuckle, because this so isn't anywhere close to Jungle......but remember laying it down to this at Dreamscape in the early 90's

It's 1992, happy hardcore is in full swing. I'm 14 and Jungle is just emurging from the dance scene. It would be a number of years before the 2 step garage scene came about to take away the rude boys & jungle evolved in to Drum & Bass. At that time we had:
