I know I haven't updated in a few weeks, but to be honest I haven't done anything except drop it off to my tuner for a dynotune. It didn't work out at my mates as the curve wasn't as nice as I wanted so took it for a professional tune.
They'll be tuning it today so hopefully I can pick it up after work, otherwise tomorrow.

Other than that nothing has been done, picking up a set of slicks and rain tyres for spain and a new chain with different sprockets later today, so if the bike is back tonight I put the chain on with the -1 front sprocket and +2 rear sprocket.
Might start packing my toolbox for spain, only another week before the bike leaves.... can't wait, in 3 weeks I'll be in spain drinking cerveza's and doing some riding....

Picked up the bike yesterday 175 on the rear wheel, same as my 08 blade, only difference is that I now havethe GP2 slip on and on the 08 I had the arrow trophy full line from ten kate.

Picked it up and had no brake, so went looking into that last night and had to completely strip the brakes and rebuild them. Will get a few pics up over the weekend and maybe a cheeky video

yes I'm taking 2 camera's with me ( have to from my sponsor ;) ) AEE S21 and the AEE S50, I've also got the 3D, but can't really do anything with that one.

and yeah real happy with the power on the paper, but won't really know how happy until I've taken her out for the first time.....

just put a new 520 chain on with -1 in the front and +1 on the rear, when riding in belgium +2 will be used on the back. After the brake problems, I when to the importer of IRC here in belgium yesterday and the internals of the master cylinder were replaced and the problem was solved.
After fittingt he chain today I fitted the fairings and thought I would let the bike go up in temp until the fan turns on. Well just guess what happened.
The bike was a cat B and the radiator was dented, but not leaking, mark checked this, but he didn't let the fan run I assume, and the radiator being dented has made the fan rubber against the rad at the back, resulting in, yes you guessed it, a leak..... bugger, got to get it sorted before friday as the bike is being picked up to go to spain.....

with all this crap going on I really couldn't be arsed to fix it anymore and go...... when will the ship stopped, don't really have any faith in the bike anymore........

    rant over :D :D

And mark the good man will sort it out with another one

SO been out on track for 2 days here in Monteblanco and have had a few hiccups, but nothing major to stop me from riding.
First day first sessions, a little leak from the replacement rad that was for the 2008/11 bike, got that sorted within 5mins and was out on track after the sighting laps behind the car, no problems anymore with that.
second problem that arrived was that my back brake locked up after a few laps and nearly made me bin it as it took me to a holt in all the slow corners. Managed to get the bike back in, I think it was the HRC fluid pipe that was to close to the expansion bottle and got warm and put pressure on the pads to lock up. Moved the pipe, took pressure off the caliper and now don't have a back brake, but I don't use it anyway. Another problem solved :)
My headstock nut was undoing itself doing 170miles down the striagh, luckily I saw it and did it up with my hand and came in, tightened the bugger and was out quick smart again.

Final problem I have is the engine managemnet light turns on after about 10 miles. I can turn the key and it'll reset itself. the bike doesnt ride any different, so not sure what it is, will have to have a look around and ask around when back home.

If anyone knows how to read out the codes, please let me know

Glad you made it, bound to have a few teething issues when you rebuild a bike. The track will also bring them to the surface quickly too! Looking forward to the footage, any photos to tease us with?

one thing I did find with the 2013 blade is that it goes easily into 1st when riding, All my other bikes, including the 09 blade was more of a clunk into first was I never did it because it felt like I was forcing it in. Now this baby goes into first as easily as in any other gear, very helpful for slowing down and using the engine braking. I found myself using it for the engine braking and then just before the apex I would put it into 2nd, as I really don't want to flick myself of the bike just yet :D

Picked up the bike and realized why my clip ons look high, on the wrong side... dooohhhhhhh :D :D
Will be giving it a once over this week, new oil and filter ready for april. Looking to do cadwell in may, a 2 dayer, 12th and the 13th, so if anyone would be interested, let me know!
