Slipper Clutch, blip or not?

    To Mr Moore, speaking as an old fart, my first bike was a C11 learning to ride it around the local slag heap at 13, I can assure you it didnt change gear if you didn't blip the throttle in either direction, add in all the 60's British cr*p I rode in the seventies and early eighties and it becomes the habit of a lifetime, at my advanced age it's difficult to learn new tricks you know......Mike

    I own some british vintage iron . Gears on the wrong side and upside ... Takes some getting used to

    Dan, re the gears I never did understand why they went that way, the gear left and brake right is more logical, mind you I locked the back brake a few times when I went japanese with a plastic maggot until I adapted. The best thing about some of the Brit stuff I had was I never, ever needed to wax my boots, there was always a light (and not so light) oil mist on them, one particular BSA stands out as the worst bike I have ever owned.......Mike
