I wonder if your Tom Tom would have a shit fit if you booted it up on an airliner.

All the speeds quoted above were obtained on Autobahns, the Isle of Man or racetracks.

    There you go.

I've seen 185 on the clocks in Germany with a standard screen and a Kriega tailpack. Chin on the tank.

I'm sure it was still pulling and the clock just stops after 185.

Me also but when your in a plan that you can open the windows at 4k + and stall on a climbs, plus fly back from Cornwall for a brekky it's much more fun

That's pathetically slow. I'm barely into 3rd at that speed. On the Autobahn, Mountain, Silverstone straight etc whatever.

Don't know about that TBH but I do know mine was still pulling hard at an indicated 174 at which point I bottled it as my head was getting battered by the wind due to me being fairly upright as the Givi Tank Bag precluded me from ducking down behind the screen at all, that and the fact I had 50 litres of Kriega on the back plus full Gortex clothing.

Can't fault the power either way.

Nope. Works fine. They're good up to quite a bit faster and about 60,000feet (Commercial ones are limited to stop you using them as guidance on missiles). IIRC you can violate one at a time, but not both together. I think from memory the speed is around 1000mph.

In the window usually works OK. Can take a while to get a lock if you've not used it recently or moved too far so the almanac & ephemeris is out of date.
