Nipped out on the few roads that were grit free....it was freezing Hardly anyone out....there was an electric bike at the tea stop and had a chat about it. 6k for a new battery Guess there's a place for them but they're not for me....that whirring sound just makes me chuckle...can't beat a lovely tasty engine and zorst
Nor me. Most of the electric cars can't achieve anywhere near their stated range, then there's the lottery of finding a charger. Imagine having to sit in a motorway services for 1hr waiting to recharge drinking £4 cups of coffee. Technology is meant to make things better not worse!
Someone pointed out in a magazine this week in reference to a 140 mile...20 minute charge. That if the 6 of them currently out on sportsbikes all changed to electric ones and went out on a longish days blast and couldn't find a stop with 6 free chargers but only 1....they'd be sat 2 hrs waiting for all 6 to be ready Also with that 6k battery there's a 5 year guarantee so who's going to want to buy that second hand as it nears that point!
Snow all around first thing but decided to chance it and a few miles from home no snow and dry roads. Bloody cold though 3.5° C but little beemer kept my hands toastiewhile the blade waits for warmer days
Out in the Peak District on Sunday with Mark and Paul.... The Pani is stunning in the flesh and sounds awesome...( completely the opposite of its owner)
Lol.....well that thought will probably ruin any chance of any further erections in his life......ever
Managed to get a few hours in yesterday, arse end of Cambridgeshire with a few more hills than surround the fens. A bit cold and I went with a mate whose not long passed so more of a bumble but I still managed to put a 911 and a Range Rover to shame and got some nice comments in the bike to boot whilst sat outside a co-op. Love it when that happens
I would swap my RR-B for it in a heartbeat. I’d never be able to replace my old one, but marks would sure bloody beat it!
I intended to tax my bike from 1st May but having looked at the predicted weather for Cheshire they’ve given the next 2 weeks as being over 50% chance of rain so I might leave it for yet another week!
Agreed ! Mine is tax all year, too the glorious mileage of 670 in 18 fecking months ! And yes I wont be out tomorrow, working again
