.....don't get me wrong, I've been doing what I like. But for anyone wanting to abide by the the rules to the letter then strictly speaking it's local.
Had to run some ‘very small’ parts out to a client in Accrington so thought with it being sunny and all I’d use the express service. Nothing exciting but good to get out and stretch the blades legs a little.
Boothman you have got to get rid of that massive metal box on the side of your bike and get one more sleeker
First proper run out since October and the Kentish lockdown, forgot what the sea looked like. Rye bike park, decent selection arriving and leaving, major let down as Mr Whippy was nowhere to be seen. It was only whilst sitting there eating me chips, that I overheard someone talking about road tax, then it hit me like a sledgehammer, mine was still on a SORN , hence muffing out me plate.
Won't have my bike for this bank holiday weekend because it will be away having its first service. The Ducati dealership is on the other Island. Normally a day trip over on the ferry - have a service whilst you have some chips and a look round the town - and maybe even back the same day on the late ferry. All very nice. Not this time - because we are all guaranteed to die of pestilence - I have had to ship the bike unaccompanied to the other Island as freight. It will take a week of shipping faffery including the actual service time. I will not get my bike back until next week, so as the bike will not spend time on the docks over the bank holiday. What a dumb ass, should have left it another week and had it over the bank holiday - doh !!
Riding the 150 miles to see my boyfriend who I haven't seen since before Christmas not sure if i can make it back the same day.
I'll be aiming to get another 400 miles done at the weekend before the weather changes next week. Suspension setup booked for the 13th and 1st service on the 17th. Hoping the "wintery showers" will have passed by then.
I will be venturing out for the first proper ride of the season on Good Friday!! Will be meeting @Selmer50mark at Garstang car park toilets naturally and then on to a few of our favourite spots!! Cannot bloody wait!!
First proper ride out of the year on the new bike today and what a day it was! Could not ask for better weather, views, company and the bikes not bad either!
As above The sound of thunder is the colour of red ,,,,,,,,, but is thirsty So there's going to be a lot of fuelling up
My V4 is a thirsty bastard aswell, think the intoxicating noise makes you ride it like a tw*t which doesn't help.
