Upgrades Rob has done. We only found out about this our-self in the same way as you mate. I dislike the Anodised stuff also, the coloured stuff i mean not the metal or black etc... I prefer stealthy mods and not ones that are in your face.

Got it in one, how to lose hundreds off the price of your bike by making it look cheaper than it is. I have just bought a CB1000R and there is a guy on the forum who has spend close to a thousand pounds on all manner of nuts .... in different colours ! Holy **** it looks awful... he's spent money to lose money, genius.
Maybe it's because I'm shorter than others then. And probably have a thicker neck... The standard screen on mine is good for more than that. No buffeting. I seem to be in a sweet spot not even tucked right down. I also ride with a Shoei helmet. I'm not sure what others are like (Shoei seem to be the only ones who make helmets that fit me). And we were (I'm assuming) talking bout road bikes, not fully tricked for track... So the comments bout fastest man around the track (Blackness) should probably be tempered with things like his swing-arm cost more than several of our bikes... Put together... H
on a superstock that costs maybe double what a road bike costs(maybe a tad more) (and is only about 1mph slower than a full on SBK). if you telling me that you can sit on the m/way at 70mph with out being buffeted usig a standard screen,then your either, a) very short or b) one of these tools that rides round in the tuck position like he's nailing it down the start fininsh straight going for as much aerodynamics as possible to get the pass on the race leader . which is far worse than any bike mod......
5.10 mate and not exactly skinny! Lol But my high screen offers more wind protection than a standard one. Also looks better. But just my opinion obviously
I agree, my new road fairing has standard screen and being use to my race fairing double bubble it's like getting onto a naked bike, but ok for road use, wouldn't fancy it on track though
. Totally agree mate. However my mate Arron's bike is, I think, the exception that proves the rule. It also makes the most gloriously musical sound. Oh, and BTW, That's my bike behind it with C/F front and back and Tail-tidy and I think that looks FEKIN AWSUM too . Nick.
