Yamaha don't own them, they had shares.. Öhlins - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Some brands like Triumph, MV, and now Honda buy the genuine item from Ohlins, unlike Ducati and Yamaha who use a cheaper OEM option on many common production models
I notice with all that uprated exotica, honda still choose not to fit braided lines?. Whats with that? Makes me think the new OEM rubber stuff holds its own with Hel and all that.
Even though i have just sold my blade and am going '' naked ''.... that picture is really lovely, it will be a real head turner when you get it, good luck with the purchase and as said, its your cash and you spend it how you wish. There are plenty of ways to waste it a lot quicker and with nothing to show at the end.
Come on Arthur, I've seen you bike and it's an Sp from the 00's. Actually it's got far more trick parts.
I on the other hand really don't want one!!!! Don't get me wrong, she's a stunning piece of kit. I just wanna do a "Lambchops"! lol. Maybe one day.....................
He's a plant he's working for Kawasaki for sure! He's flying the ninja green colours the lot! Kawasaki's got him in there telling folk the ninja's a far better bike to keep honda sales low for sure!
Never liked gold wheels tbh dude, even on the Yamaha when they did special paint schemes. Look too chavvy ( imho ) Ive always liked black wheels on bikes
Fair enough mate, all three bikes in my garage have black wheels (ones BST's but still black) so it's not I don't like black wheels. Just on the right bike I do like change. With the gold forks etc, think the gold wheels look the part.
Yeah for sure, if ur gonna buy summat special like the SP, u want a bike thats gonna stand out from the crowd esp from a distance. Looking forward to seeing one on the road and how it looks in the flesh
If I was in a position to buy one I would also fit the new HM GP Quickshifter, maybe the lightweight wheels as others have said.
Surely with the buying power of Honda they could have fitted these parts ^^^ on the SP without adding a huge whack onto the cost of manufacture / selling the bike??
"think" you would be looking at almost another £3k to add them, maybe £2.5k minimum after bulk discount - the shifter retails at £650 plus the loom, plus VAT, plus shift rod I think, BST wheels are c.£2,250
