Akro, hugger and ASV levers going on tomorrow, however forecast for tomorrow is really good for round here so may have to pop out for a spin then juggle with the red hot exhaust when I get back :)

Think most SP buyers will be waiting another 11 days to get them on a 14 plate - no doubt some will be delivered to their homes in advance but not be able to use it till March 1st

Have a mate who has taken delivery of a 63 Plate S1000rr with loads of extras - he's had it at home for 2 weeks now and its not turned a wheel on the road yet - we all said wait to register it as a 14 plate but think he got giddy with it!

Does the SP have a different engine over the 14 model year Blade?

The other SP the dealer had there goes Monday to the customer not even PDI'd, it for a collection but if he decides to use it for spin out in summer he's shipping it back to dealer to PDI before going out!
I've never been a waiter for reg plates just love riding motorbikes, it's like "Can we wait until we're married before having sex?" NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEXT ONE :)

    6. Forgot to add about the brakes, Oh Boy the hardest front brake lever I've ever had AND on an ABS model too! Brakes are spot on and so positive.

What did your dealer advise about running in period? Your right about the seat it felt rock hard!
Can't wait to get mine in 2weeks hopefully we don't have any snow!

Dealer didn't say anything and there is little bit in manual about full throttle.
Personally I keep it to half red line with occasional blip to 10,000 for 600 then 10,000 to 1000 miles.

They look ready for a good scrub, the pirellis that is. My SP lands down here next month. That Akro looks awefully like my anniversary slip-on for my MY12. Akrapovic have advised me that this system is not compatible with the 2014 due to the fact that they have relocated the catalyst to the intermediary section of the exhaust :( . Let us know how you go with it as I had intended on moving mine onto the SP as the finising piece. 2 more questions are the brake lines braided and is the front master cylinder brembo?? I suspect the answer to both of these is no but please let us know. Dave

They are right, Cat and Sensor now on downpipes. Outlet pipe from Cat a lot larger now. Done deal with dealer for helmet and he can sell Akro with old bike.

Well some things are never supposed to get easier I guess and not always an improvement.
