You'll have to cut the wires to the tail light if you want to use the original connector by the looks of things. I don't think I've found a TT yet that supplies an original tail light connector.
I know what you mean, why can't they fit a honda connector?? I'm going to fit the light but not connect it up. You only need it for MOT dont you and that's 3 years away! Doubt I'll be riding at night
Attempted to remove the pig ugly number plate hanger today, looked simple enough but it's a bit tight in there! Trying to get a spanner on them bolts is harder than it looks. Does anyone have any advice on this, any body work need removing from the tail end??
Take a look at this. It's a bit slow but it is step by step. There is a little hiccup in the middle but it's worth a watch.

I reckon they're essential for any Blade!! Improves the looks 100%. If I was in New Zealand I'd say that a Blade without a tail tidy looks like a sheep with dags hanging out of its backside!
Little update on the tail tidy installation, half way through it now thanks to the video @Kevin1 uploaded. Alot of pausing and playing but it has been easy enough to follow. Decided not to connect the LED number plate light. It's fitted but didn't want to cut the connectors off. Will just route the wires through as normal out of sight. I wonder if there is a mini solar panel available you could connect the two bullet connections too and stick it somewhere out of sight but where it'll get a bit of sun?? Will post more pics when finished
Doin' well Paul. All worth it in the end! Blame modern times. Back in the 'olden days' many of us remember, we take the tank off a bike and all that's underneath is a set of coils with leads to the plugs. Take off the seat and there's a battery and a flasher can and rectifier if we're lucky. Take off the 'chrome' rear guard/fender and you have one wire with three connectors to indicators and tail light. End of story. Today, a petrol isn't even a friggin' petrol tank; a coil is better known as a contraceptive device; and a flasher can is a suspect guy in an overcoat in the council toilets. So where'd this friggin' LED, ECU, TFT, injection, etc come from? Friggin' progress.

You can be sure Paul wouldn't put it on his bike if it were crap!! Best of all, 30 quid cheaper than R & G!.
All done, fit was perfect and tail tidy itself is solid in construction, highly recommended! Opened the back end up nicely quite easy to work on really but like most things it seems impossible without a little video guidance. One thing this job has highlighted, is how good the paint work is on this bike, up close it really is a stunning finish!
That look a lot better , it a shame that manufacturers have their hands tied with stupid legislation like number plate hangers , even fork reflectors spoil the look are they coming off Paul?
