Yes a 'sticky' post would be good

I will definitely go back sometime. I'd be interested in alternatives for the Ferry (Santander?). Its a long way to Andorra from Zeebrugge!

Zeebruuge punts you too far east / north for Andorra - we do mid crossing overnight from Portsmouth to Caen, then 1 day down to Andorra at start of trip (boat docks 07:30 so you really do have ALL day)

Ferry to Spain also highly rated by those who use it - but not close to Andorra unless you motorway it on the French side towards TOulouse then work back West end of trip on the Spanish side

That sounds good. How long does the Ferry take? What is approximate cost?

    Cheers,

    Ian.

Portsmouth to caen is about 6 hours or so, not that long a nights sleep. Price varies loads, look at Brittanyferries.com

The picture you've attached... I've been there this August :) There is a cozy pub with an impressive collection of banknotes from around the world.
I envy you sooo much ;) well, maybe not the 'long ride back up through France' part :D I took a ferry home from Bilbao ;)
