Sadly this will be the same for the foreseeable future. It's become an entertainment business and has so little to do with football these days that some of the businesses should be forced to change their names. Until the grass roots start being properly developed we will continue on the downward spiral. The Germans got it right a few years ago, realised they had got crap and started again. Few years later they are back at the top of the game again, whereas we have done f**k all for so long now that I can't be bothered to watch the national team as it just winds me up too much.

I think its fair to say the millions with lots of noughts on the end that Citeh and Chelski, Gooners & Manks in particular are spending in their quest for consistent foreign born goalscorers, and the Spuds have nurtured home grown talent and he has been given his break largely because the millions the Spuds have spent on dud strikers and he has grabbed it and we should be celebrating the fact that home grown English talent is out there making waves. Kane is more than a poacher, he has great movement, can look along the line and time his runs, tackles well and has pace,

It just makes all footie fans wonder how much home grown talent is being wasted in the need for instant results and quick fixes the foreign legion supposedly bring.

The only issue the Spuds have is that the big boys will come knocking very soon with big wads of cash and Mr Levy will likely Bale out and cash in as history will show.
