OK, got it sorted!!! Dave V suggested it might be the bar ends, so I took it off and throttle was still sticking. I loosened the switch gear and that does not move much and I could tell that that was not going to solve my problem either. So I loosened the throttle cable pulley casing, and was playing around with everything, but it was still sticking... So I thought that it had to be a physical restriction, so I pulled the throttle sleeve towards taking them off the bars, and saw that there was the remnants of grease under there... The only grease I have is copper grease in a can, so I thought I'd give it a go... I pulled the throttle off as much as it could go without stressing the cables and the heated grips wiring, and sprayed the copper grease and slid the throttle back on, rotating it as much as I could, and repeated that a few times, and it just started to twist easier and easier... Put on my R&G bar ends I got from Nutty Tart and Bob's your Uncle!!! Problem solved by greasing under the throttle tube. YAY!!!!!!!
Dodgy throttle cable not = throttle sleeve needs greasing... Sorry only a consolation prize for you this time... You get an "A" for effort though!!!!
