We will just have to wait and see if Audi sort out Ducati . Perhaps Rossi went to Ducati to early. Will German ethics sort it out?

Well that's it Stoner is now in the history books and has retired at the right time as he didn't want to risk anything

Cant say i blame him to be honest, if i could have retired at 26 having acheived what he has then i would have been more than happy.
I say good luck to him whatever he does from now on.

If your hearts not in it anymore (or if your scared of Rossi kicking your arse:D) then no point carrying it on really.

On serious note I wonder what he will do next

Totally agree Giv, this series ranks a poor third in the Moto classes.

I'm a fan of both riders in equal amounts but I get tired of the constant Stoner bashing, especially on Crash.net, by the Rossi fans.

Put it this way, since Stoner entered the premier class, they have both won 2 championships each; although I think Stoner has more race wins.

The difference is that Stoner spent 4 whole seasons on that 'unrideable' Duke, whereas Rossi spent 2006-2009 on more or less the best handling bike in the paddock. The most direct comparison between the two can probably be made now that we've seen both riders on a Ducati, and we all know how that turned out....

Lorenzo himself said he was LUCKY that Stoner wasn't on a Yamaha or Honda earlier in his career as Stoner would have gotten more titles for sure. Even a 2 time champ has acknowledged Stoner's talent.

And master of development??? How did your development with the duke go rossi, with the fact that you were given a lot more support than stoner ever had?!

I'm not bashing Rossi, I'm just giving Stoner the recognition he deserves. And as far as being the so-called GOAT, if everyone checked the stats they'd find that honour goes to Agostini.

I am a Rossi fan if he is doing well or doing bad, to be honest for me it's not just about the race I think rossi brings great drama to the circuit too, it makes it alot more interesting.

Well Rossi had better get back to his old form or he's gonna look even more of a dick if he doesn't get a race win in. Marquez is gonna hand his ass to him if he ain't careful. He's got no excuses now that he's back on a championship winning bike!

    I'll miss Stoner's riding. Those slo-mo hi-def videos of him cornering....unreal.
