Been there also (more than once) and it's not great mate, least he will patch up and can tell the tale... As always could have been much worse.
Sorry to hear about your friend, its not easy seeing someone going down in front of you .... i know the feelings you have about the suspension settings that you got from Dave Moss i have those on my blade for about 2 years now and my bike runs fantastic this is the 3rd bike that he has set up for me and the 2nd for my partner ... now i believe the settings are not that different to the standard ones and for me i am no Rossi but i am confident rider and very happy with those settings.... now Dave Moss has got alot of positive feedback from around the world about the work he does so until i know more and better about suspension i would not be slagging him off..... if your friend was blasting all over the IOM why did he change the suspension in the first place and as regards to riding i have been riding for forty years and i had and off 3 years ago and i do blame myself a bit... but then later you forgive yourself dust down and away we go again....yes i broken collar bone too... plate in and now out again, shoulder will not be the same again but i am still here and the Mrs can still give a hug and kiss and all is well and bike was fixed. I hope your friend gets well soon and gets a chance to give himself a dust down
Hey guys, Can anyone share suspension settings for someone weighing 160-165 pounds? There are no suspension experts here and i'll have to fix the bike myself. The bike needs an extra effort to turn in & front end also feels a little unstable.
