Well I have an L0 GSXR 1000 and it's mustard but they have wasted their time with the mods on this. It makes me laugh how Honda fans hate GSXR's n etc etc but have to say the lads on the GSXR forum Rate the blades highly
mustard as in good mate? 2 of my mates always say mustard as in good an another uses it for bad haha for me all bikes have there own unique attributes its just finding the right one that fits us
Yup, its the Master Cylinder on the gsxr range, always have been utter bilge, on my old K5 600 i had the lever back to the bar in 3 laps, thats with braided lines, srs fluid & EBC HH pads, i then stuck a brembo on it and the thing stopped on a ninepence. they aint the worst though, kawasaki MC's are truly truly awful. Back to the OP, the GSXR L2, well, er, case of same old same old isnt it? Lets face it, any of the current crop of 1000cc bikes are way beyond our limitations, the only people to notcie the difference are racers & Journos who like t make us all pretend they are fast, yet are only being told whats what by the racers who tell us anyway. Simple facts, Blades rule, the chassis is the best by a mile, an original HRC rep 08/09 with full akra is akin to Olivia Wilde In Tron Legacy and the engine was made by god himself.
I loved the 05 gsxr, its been down hill from there. I rode the 11 reg GSXR thats why I feel I can say honestly I did not like it. Its not who makes the bike, its how the bike feels to ride for me if buell made an awesome 1000 I would buy one, it just so happens they dont and if Suzuki pull things together I might get a GSXR, but I cant see that happening anytime soon if the past 6 years are anything to go by
I rode a Good few K5-6's then bought a K8 because I preferred it then despite it being exactly as I wanted it I tested the k9 L0 and traded it in for one the bikes don't get worse although I accept they may not get much better!
few pictures from the nec gotta love it haha few more pictures on my fb page of the clocks and of that yumtastic MV http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.270956659617645.66171.148452238534755&type=3
I like them, the front of them from the k5 onwards look poo manchu though......I prefer twin lights on a bike.
If my blade wasn't signed i think id be goin for this having said that the tank is flipping wide com paired to a blade LOL was like whooah haha 600 an the 7fiddy felt alot slimmer
It is basically the same bike as current bike looks wise, mine is single sided already, I like the size of the bike but I'm a pretty big bloke so I would
Amazing, strong as an ox from the off it just begs you to keep the throttle pinned until it hits the limiter. It hits the 186mph limiter in 5th gear with ease, it makes me laugh when the journo's say it's sedate and boring etc, it's anything but!!!
haha sweet i do miss that gixer induction roar addictive as anything had a go on my dads 750 recently and was like yum yum yum
