Wanted an sp1 for years! Eventually took the plunge and found a clean one in a dealers. Had a deal done to trade my 600rr when the dealer said take it for a test drive to set it in stone. Well all I can say is never meet your heros, I was gutted cos I didn't like it! I mean I had had twins before and love them, but compared to the Rr it Was less ... Fun... I went back to the dealer upset, I asked for my 600rr keys back and went home smiling! It was in the Joey colors and mint but it just wasn't as insane as I wanted! The Blade on the other hand is awesome! Nostalgia = Sp1 but performance= blade.
I know what you mean skapegoat the SP2 was my dream bike and first test ride I hated it but 5k of mods later I.quite like it but the blade is still a better bike. However saying that I regret nothing and will never sell the SP.
