Lid was sprayed and looks ace - but the vynil is mind blowing in the flesh mate - look closely and the White bits have everones name that sponsored him! My pal Si done the design, it's so good I've asked Bruce to put me onto his vinyl guy as I'm thinking of having the blade done in same design to help spread the word...

That's a cracking idea Jimbo. Wonder if anyone else would be up for that?

God knows mate - but any help he can get is a good thing. Can't believe this time next week he will be loading up the bike.

Going to take next Monday off and see him onto the ferry if you fancy it? Know dave might be coming along...

Yeah, I'm coming mate- made Bruce the promise so can't let him down. Have tried to book Monday and Tuesday, just in case we go further..............

Cracking idea with the wrap, think I could get the 929 done as do loads of miles on it all over the place? Would Bruce mind?

Catching up on Bruce and his journey this evening. Seems as though after a week of near no contact with the outside world the trip is over. Here's Bruce's latest post 25 minutes ago.

    Bruce's update posted this evening.

Hi folk, sorry for the radio silence but it's been one hell of a week! Myself and Robert, (the chap I buddied up with) are safe and in Dakar. But I'm afraid I've had to make the decision to end the trip for me. There is a huge story behind this, and I promise I'll update you all very soon. Internet access is sporadic to say the least. Hopefully be flying home soon. Apologies to all.

Righto, as many of you know Big Bad Bruce is on take 2 of his round the world trip which started on no other than the 1000rr Scotland tour.

Spoke with him yesterday as he headed into France and beyond, must admit was gutted to see him ride off in Scotland knowing what adventures might lie before him (more jealousy i wasn’t going tbh) and also that i'd miss not only one of my top riding buddies but a great pal and fantastic fella to have around! if you pick this up, fingers crossed big man and we are all behind you!

his episode 3 is now uploaded which gives an insight into the end of take 1 TeapotOne Episode 3 - Dream to Hell - YouTube it's some vid tbh and gives you some idea of the journey he has done already.

Bridgestone are backing him with tyres, he will be back in fastbikes and he now has corporate sponsorship to fund the trip.

can track his progress here Track Me » TeapotOne - 100,000 miles around the world for charity which shows the route in it's entirety and also his live tracker which is within minutes. SPOT Shared Page

in true Bruce style he isn’t hanging around and since he left us in Moffatt has smashed landsend, france, holland and is already half way through germany heading for poland, russia, mongolia and beyond!! (all that and he still managed a cheeky stop in Amsterdam - good lad!! ;) )

keep up the support, spread the word and follow him on what is a great biking adventure and worthy cause!!

TeapotOne - 100,000 miles around the world for charity

Remember Bruce - your not famous - just crazy!!!

Cheers boys, really do appreciate that. That Scotland tour was the perfect way to start this trip, really set me up well for the next year on the road. Jimbo, you're a legend, thanks bud.

I'm currently in a wee town called Bad Bramstedt in Germany, just north of Hamburg. Not too much to see to be honest, except the waitress in the pizza place I found tonight. WALLOP! We're coming back here lads, and the less said about Amsterdam the better. Ahhhhh, memories, sweet memories ;-)

Heading to Sweden tomorrow through Denmark, and aiming at being in Oslo by Sunday night all going well. I was eating the miles up on the motorway before but came off onto the back roads after Amsterdam so it's a lot more enjoyable now. Can't wait for Norway and it's West Coast, should be a lot like Scotland except not quite as "BOWwowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww"!

Right boys, I'm off for now, got to update the blog tonight then sample some local 'culture'. It's a tough life eh, enjoy work ;-)

    Cheers for now,

    Me

Making good progress, is the Bruce, can't help but smile every time I look at the map and see the Scottish part of the journey, thinking I rode some of that :)

Just wondering if the mods "Remal" will sticky this tread so it dont get buried every day?

To end, does anyone follow Bruce on twitter? Quite an easy way for quick updates on his progress, and can be used for that quick shot of humour, "usually at his exspence" which bearing in mind his size, I just hope he's not got such a good memory ;)

Yeah the old boy is cracking on now!! No doubt will be up by Norway by the end of today....

Good idea though Gary, would be handy. Also merge the thread Jason started or close one off?? Keep it all in one place. Not fussed which one, but hopefully the thread will grow as we follow bruce's adventure and be handy for it to all be in one place.

Its all about the moral ain't it, merging threads would probably be the best?
I guess its easy enough whilst he's still in populated places with folk around him, but once he starts getting into the wilderness his spirits are going to need to be kept to maximum. I can't shake the image of him diving through some jungle or other on the bike, only to meet Baron Von Grumble, what Ho old chap, tough isn't it this green Laning on a gixer :D
