    Was it troy Baylis who hit a seagull at Philip island a few years back and ended up with black eyes and concussed etc?

    yup Bayliss it was - there's been peeps killed in the IOM from seagull 'collisions', common problem...
    Headlight arrived today and fitted (brand new off eBay for £120.00 !!), nose cone arrives at my local Newcastle dealer tomorrow yippeee...

    It was Troy Corser in the second race at Phillip Island he later toured around after securing the WSB championship. Few years before that Colin Edwards had an almighty smack with a seagull that smashed his screen and fairing but did finish on the podium to show the debris on his leathers.

    Nah proper mess it was - on stripping the bike there was bits of smelly crow parts all over the front end !!

    I took out a pigeon out at 170 the bike seemed to suck it in and it got me on the inside of my right arm nothing left of it but as it hit the vented piece of the leathers i got a full black inner arm within two days.
