    Just been out for a little 60 mile jolly...

    First impressions are;

    Good - The motor (wow), these litre bikes go alright eh!!!! Really good fun, just a pity the roads are iffy and there's a new back tyre in.

    Not so good - I need to sort the handling. The shock is too hard even with my sixteen stones aboard while the forks are too far the other way, proper slow speed the front end feels vague (checked pressures when i got back and they're fine). TBH i'm probably being a little harsh as i'm comparing it to my Kwak that's had money spent on suspension and setting up.

    It's a great bike, the motor is superb and it won't take much to get the handling right i reckon. I can't wait to get some decent weather and stretch it's legs properly...

    Merry Christmas from a very happy Fireblade owner :cool:

    I had exactly the same probs with the bike with the factory setup after coming from the r1 with ohlins and ktec, however, a little adjustment here and there really helps transform the bike, you will soon be smitten with it :)

    Did the same 60 mile run yesterday and had really good fun.

    I'm going down on the front sprocket by 1 tooth and ordering brake lines and a new master cylinder. Switched the gearshift around to race pattern but had to remove the front sprocket cover and enjoyed my little blast so much more.

    Time to hammer the plastic on ebay now me thinks...

    They were ordered on the 21st so i doubt they'll be here much before the end of January with the holiday break. Not too fussed TBH as it gives me a chance to get the other bits ready.
