    I do just that... :)

Washed every week without fail, ACF50 to all lowers and chain cleaned and waxed each week. Full ACF50 every three months. All plastics, lights, etc covered in glasscoat or ventureshield.

I like a clean bike but I use it too... 14k pa

ACFed my bike last weekend, it won't have a deep clean until the gritters are in hibernation.

Apart from chain and brakes getting a full treatment the rest of the bike only gets snow foamed and pressure washed  it pains me to think all my hard work is undone by a short stint on a wet M4.

Zipster and kent you could be properly shooting yourself in the foot with this as who would want to buy anything off you if that's how you treat it?

TBH by the time I am finished with them I don't sell them to anyone I know, remotely know, ever likely to know or even probably never will know, that's what dealers are for

lol! Its a bike...its for riding!! Its my daily transport, I aint got an audi or 3 series tucked away in a garage.
Besides, I aint selling this baby, I luv her to pieces Thats why I ride her every day.
Last fireblade I had lasted 14 years and 94,000 miles before I traded her in, Im a happy man.

You are a real-rider. Do you not slip and slide in ice/snow?

    Cheers chap.

I just traded my 33,000 mile old R1 in against the Fireblade and the dealer was amazed with the condition of it ... Not a furry bolt in sight. He sold it in three days to the first person who looked at it :D

The blade will get used heavily but will be kept immaculate ... In better condition than most fair weather bikes!
