I am not really a top end speed merchant you would laugh at my top mph. However, what i do like is that feeling of being completely pinned back when you wang it through 1st / 2nd and 3rd

Getting back on a bike after thinking your biking days are over, never smiled so much. Oh, and beating a Fireblade on my GS in the twisties!

(Calm down, calm down, I lied about the second one :bolt:)

To me it's meeting the guys first thing in a morning, checking oil levels and tyre pressures "again" the usual pi$$ taking and banter before the off, the sound of at times 6-10 motorbikes roaring down the street, waking up the people that woke me up slamming their car doors at strange hrs of the night, putting 200-300 miles on the clock, and returning home with the same numbers you set off with :) I reckon that sums it up for me ;)

Organising and leading a trip for 42 bikes to Le Touquet. The noise we made going into the Town was something else, and I got it all on vid. Luverly!

I'm a long-standing member of Gixerjunkies and organised several trips for the guys, most of which were week long trips, but also a couple of day-trips to Le T. The biggest number of bikes was on the one in question, 42 in all, that also included organising lunch at a very nice Restaurant in LT. Great time was had by all. As I was leading most of the filming was done by a mate, although I had a rear-facing cam on board. Going through Boulogne past the fish market was special, so many people came out to watch the 'fly-past'. Yep, good times.

    Le Touquet May 2010

A pic of some of the bikes in Calais prior to setting off for Le Touquet. No prizes for guessing which one is me lol.

I'd agree with That JD, we had a couple of weekends away this year, nothing to the size or distance as yourself, however just as enjoyable, did a weekend to the IOM in May 2 weeks before the TT, and we did August bank holiday around the Scottish Borders, bit of pressure up front though, when 1 takes a wrong turn, they all do :) but I guess that's half the fun?
