Just had a call from Elaine and Asda Petrol is being reduced by 2p per litre tomorrow ( New Years day) Only problem is no one will be able to drive lol
One thing to remember is that as the price drops our North Sea oil becomes 'expensive' to produce which could have knock on effects if it remains low - time will tell but its weird to live in era of falling fuel prices. Those in the US must really be laughing as the % of fuel cost is much higher than in the UK where such a high % is duty hence why its not fallen as fast as you would expect / hope givne drop in oil prices
Yes fill yer boots boys, for though the present coalition is not going to commit political suicide by increasing fuel duty this side of next May's General Election just watch the way, whoever gets in, piles the tax on as soon as they walk through the front door of number 10.
