right this is how its been going, I wanted a taylormade until i read the reviews on them... dont get one mate^^ then i thought Yoshi!! not keen on getting it from USA though, phoned Honda dealer (i trust mine, he's very good) he said no, they have loads in with problems, what do you do if the dealer is in USA?? two brothers next, put it up on another forum, everyone, and i mean everyone, hated it... now although i'll do what i want, i dont want to roll into a bike meet, and hear " jesus fucking christ, what has she done??" lol Akra waaaaaaaaaay too expensive for me, shame So.... i have the Remus Hypercone (black satin, carbon end) exhaust coming, it'll match my newly powder coated pegs, honda dealer said they dont get them back with problems, they sound nice, and they are not too common on the blade, cant find many pictures or youtube vids... is this a good thing or bad thing? Anyway, its free next day delivery so i'll have it tomorrow. I had Remus on my Ducati and it was pretty good. Living in a village full of old people you get excellent body language feedback if your exhaust is too loud. And at pootling speed I never got a second look. But I swapped bikes with a mate on a run out once and I was riding his 'Blade about a 100 yards in front of him and at about 70 mph I could hear my Duc' over his engine and the wind noise.
really? Taylormade is rubbish? we dont get them in SA so feedbacks appreciated. I would have imported and then been stuck with it. So rather than take a chance, I will "go with the audience" and stick to the brands I know.
Iv never seen a good review to be honest. I was going to say that they don't have a Lambda boss for the oxygen sensor but American bikes don't have oxygen sensors so all good. I really wanted a taylor made my self but when i saw what is behind the carbon panel it just seemed a rip off for how much they cost and then i started finding the problems with them which everyone has zo defiantly a known issue with them
looks lovley that Mel especially with the engine covers think Im going to get an arrow full road legal system for mine always had them on all the bikes plus dads got my old system on his gixer 750 k9 the sound is lush but I adore them on 675s the most the race bike sticks all the hairs up on the back of your neck usually make decent power to
