Kinnel!!! Seems I've started a trend! Hope you're not too beat up mate, know all too well how that feels, although it's taken 46 years to find out! Never binned a Bike in my life really till last week so I spose that's not too bad really!
Broke my back in 2 places and dislocated my knee cap in 2006... That thought keeps me at 80 or 90 percent now.. 4 months of frickin hell.. Did the damage may 2006..new blade September 2006 lol..slowed me down but hasn't put me off ha
Broke the nail on my little finger in a 230mph off once, bike came off worse, right indicator lens had a hair line crack.....
he wouldn't know about that, being a semi pro (soon to be full pro no doubt) he'll have some pit monkey to look after all that for him although I do have him on camera taking my warmers off,so just hope he remembers his roots when he's up on the big stage in MGP....
Anglesey Coastal Circuit Video of one of my sessions at this trackday, couldn't have wished for better weather, especially after the horror stories I'd heard about sea mist rolling in and gale force winds making a regular appearance! Track is only about one and a half miles long so didn't take too long to learn it, very grippy and "the Corkscrew" was just awesome!
Liam's Crash at Anglesey My mate Liam joined the forum trackdayers at Anglesey, although a very fast lad on his 03 cbr6, he came a cropper at "The Banking" losing the rear and highsiding in dramatic style! He broke his collarbone in half a dozen places and took a severe battering to the left side of his body!
Icarus Green with his elbow down Can't get your knee down?........Icarus Green can......and his elbow! I let him go in front for a short while while I filmed him strutting his stuff!
Had a great time at Anglesey, found it much better than oulton but think this was down to being my 2nd time on track and an easier track to learn, great company too. Was getting faster and a big achievement for me...knee down on the old bus! Would have being getting to the fire blokes times but he didn't time me on session 3...think he was having his snooze! Lol Overall got the buzz proper now and less intimidated on track so roll on next time!
Really enjoyed the circuit.. So grippy and what a beautiful day.. Alex james photos are up from the day.. Going to treat myself to the cd as the weather was stunning. Love this pic going down the corkscrew
A few pics of my bike and myself after my crash (& before). I got away not to badly. Is there any more news on Liam?
I'm getting some funny updates off him on Facebook.. He's msking light wind of it lol. Good to see your not so bad mate
he's doing ok....his bike is still in bits in my workshop....he's been referred to Fracture clinic for collar bone... but he can walk again! still got a sore ar*e!! ha ha
