All met up on time and made swift progress to meet Si and then we got to the chippy and found Barney already to tuck in Excuse if i have missed some on out the the suspects on duty where Me .Si. Andy. Barney .Martin- (VVTR) . CBR1 .Swiss. Beckers .ALblade . Tom Please add to the list if you were here as a few of Martins Mates allso turned up .Not many dudes on the photos as they kept disapearing .Andy was showing off yet another new toy a nice red zx7 .Barney riding solo put the hammer down so that was good to see. We then set off for Chester city centre with Si leading the pack and ended up in a very packed trendy American burger joint right on the water front which was nice .Andy stayed on (Maybe for a feed after we had left ) and we set off for home Si Me Cbr1 and VVTR Si peeled off the motorway and we carried on and came off to head through Warrington and home (making er good progress with VVTR carving through the traffic on home turf. Overall a top night and great to see a good turnout again .Ps roll on Saturday and hello to The flying Fox hope you are on the mend.
Hey up Barney, good bit of banter again , if you cant have a good laugh mate might as well give up, hope the Mrs feels better soon. Good to meet all the old faces and the new ones. See you all soon.
collectively, thats what's known as 'a sharp of blades' thoroughly enjoyable run tonight chaps - good to meet some new peeps, a new neighbour an an old git who i havent seen for a year more B roads next time though! who's up for an evening kebab run through buxton, cat n fiddle, long hill etc then>??? after the devon trip of course? im sure craig will confirm its a top ride and givover, i apologise for almost rear ending you at one point lol..... everyone accelerated off, so i followed, then suddenly there was a wall of brake lights in front of me fortunately there was plenty of room. wouldve been most embarassing on a first ride with you lot lol! :/ what about them birds in chester! jeez i turned round just as that pissed girl walked past and got a facefull of ripe tit. it was terrible. im scarred for life
I really enjoyed last night fellas; especially my loverley white fish..mmmmmmm I had a run up the road on a pals 999s - very nice ride; a bike I have overlooked in the past. Thanks also Al for a ride on the Big Banger; it felt like a race bike compared to my Blade; a bit mental in fact; can see why you like it so much Ant was quite taken with it too & is whispering about taking a test ride on one soon. The ride to Chester made me feel slow; I know its harder to keep up at the back with the traffic etc but I think I have been riding my Thruxton too much!! Thanks to everyone for the company
like said good night had by all good too meet up again and and there were some nice tits in that bar just like me giv martin si andy swiss and were did al go ????
We are not local to Chester and DoD not know you had planned to head for a brew . We saw the road to northwich so took that.
Seems we are getting slated a bit on another forum boys , Seems are ride from raven to Chester was wait for it ..... BORING, SLOW , and we all braked for every corner down to 40mph ? Only time I remember doing 40 was Chester ? If he was that quick why the hell did he not overtake us ?

Very sad that our ride out with uninvited guest has turned into a rubbishing of decent blokes who by the way are ''Just having a social meet and a trip into Chester '' I cant remember saying it was a track day ,so for me get yourselves off and do your own thing.
I can end the thread right now if you feel it's likely to get contentious and would like to pre-empt any handbags. Or... I can end it if I feel it's got contentious and the safety catches on handbags are released. Or... I can leave it as it is and trust everyone to remain grown up about the matter.
leave the thread. Does anyone care what others say or do. i for one don't. Seems like a bloody good trip you lot had and wish there was more locals to me who were more active on here and could arrange a meet like this Envious yes I am
BARNEY MATE EVERY RIDE TURNS INTO THE SAME THING OVER THERE, ASK CRAIG.... (caps!) slow, fast, im better than you, look at your chickenstrips, mines louder than yours etc /yawnz. the only time i braked iirc was when everyone else did! thing is when youve just passed your test & on your first 600 you are the fastest thing on the road as you know! i thoroughly enjoyed the run and dont personally have to prove myself to anyone. dont see the point. i think one of the good things about 1000cc sportys is, especially in the uk, insurance costs deter the younger riders so we are left with a more mature clientelle
