I would wait and see if the 220+bhp R1 really does out next year? ;) :D

Thanks for all the comments and different points of view, all very informative. I did visit the Ducati dealership today, after a mammoth ride out "Plymouth Megaride" A massive HELLO! to anyone who attended - what an EVENT!

Anyway I'm digressing. I did like the 1199 panigale S in stealth black.

It's horses for courses dude! ;) the two worst bike I've ridden for me that is! Are the Triumph Speed triple and Ducati Panigale and my best being the Blade of course and the new ZZR14 & 675 Daytona! I've steered clear of the ZX10 and BMW mainly on the looks department and dodgy build on the BM

Don't spec anything, just find something you like the look of and buy it, they are all good, the Panni is great, on the road take some time to enjoy the wind in your face and have a pose, why not.. You buy a Ducati with your heart and a Honda with your head ;) and an MV if you have time on your hands ;)

Your a long time dead and life's short... however short I'd like to say I did the things I wanted, it was worth it, no regrets :)

Its only money, if it goes tits up sell it and buy something else ;) lol
