A few days ago Smokies Living next door to Alice came on the radio....not heard it for years but straight away burst into the classic rude chorus....still singing it now but I love it so much I don't care that it's festering in my brain

That is skate Lozzy and there is loads of meat on it.
If you have never tried it you should.
I think it’s the best fish
It has a soft line of bones in the middle that the meat just falls away from and no little bones to get stuck in the back of your throat
The pliers are there because that’s how you skin it
It has thorns on its back in the skin as well
Which did get me once or twice
