TomTom Rider - Anyone got one?

    here we go..finally!

    i think i bought one of these last year - never used it..its somewhere, will try to dig it up..i recall its tiny!

    I'd concentrate on getting one that is comfy under your lid as a lot of them stick out quite far and I can't see them being suitable.

    I'd go for the scala rider g4 mate. I keep banging on about it but they are that good!

    Lee and Gblade have just bought one, and I've linked up with them both, last time on Sunday! Very clear, great range, answer calls, listen to music, sat Nav and talk amongst other bikers.

    Very clear upto 80 mph, and even more if your lid is quiet at speed or you have a decent screen to deflect wind noise.

    will be ordering over the next few days

    need to download tomtom on the iphone too..

    Try Navfree, it's free for the maps and then you pay for upgrades such as speed camera locations but they're not expensive.

    i like the option on the tomtom - when preplaning the route..

    waht route type would you like:

    Winding Roads (Minimum, Medium, Maximum) - this would be good for finding the winding biking roads...No?
