If they don't have your name then never give it to them. If they turn up at the door never let them in, they also don't like being filmed. Write to the BBC Tax people (Crapita) informing them of that you are withdrawing implied right of access. If they turn up on your door you then have legal recourse, probably only Civil courts but enough to make them squirm. I pay the license but sometimes rent places and rent out our annex and so have dealt with them on repeated occasions. They are a royal pain in the arse and like to write letters implying rights they do not have and issue threats they can not carry out. As for the BBC and they way they now like to opine as news rather than facts I will leave that for other forums
