Think this set was the best of the bunch..... Im pretty sure Alan Jackson Racing has a decent set for sale he's on 07947 660928. May be worth a call
Will do. I'm waiting on a load of parts to be deliverd at the moment. All were to be delivered before Christmas, but it now looks like that won't be happening. Gutted :-(
Got a set of Diamond rearsets for Christmas from the wife & fitted them. Then realised that they won't work with my firings. Luckily enough a mate had a brand new set of Gilles FXR Reasets kicking around. A deal was done and they were fitted today. The FXR rearsets work with my fairings as the gear leaver is mounted on one of the lower engine bolts rather the kick stand mount, giving more clearance for my belly pan. Still waiting on parts. 2012 wheels should of been here today but didn't turn up :-(. New discs still not here. Clip ons still not here etc etc. I'm hoping (fingers crossed) I'll have a big delivery tmw. I'll keep you posted
Finally had a delivery today. Today I recvied wheels, new Ti disc bolts front & rear, clipons, replacement Calipers that fit and front brake lines. Rear line is on its way..... Forgot to put it In the box.......... Anyway, spent most of the late afternoon/early evening in the man shed building up everything that's been delivered.... Renthal clipons fitted along with new medium grips. Callipers and lines fitted. Only dry fitted. Got the wheels fitted too. Still got quite a few bits to do. Mainly just niggly little things. Fingers crossed my fairings will turn up his weekend along with the fitting kit. HPK discs shouldn't be too far behind. More pics & updates to follow. Thanks for the interest and comments guys. Hopefully I'm not boring you too much ;-)
Nothing boring about a build mate. Keep it coming Oh and as a side note the K-Tech compression adjusters work really well. Rather than relying on 1/4 or 1/2 turns for adjustment they have small incremental clicks of adjustment. Making it easier when on track
The forks are still stock at the moment, just a different set of springs. I'll upgrade to an ohlins 30mm kit once Iv run out of adjustment on the ones I have Fingers crossed I'll have my discs Friday and everything else over the weekend
Just a recommendation, if it were my build I'd put a bit of carbon fibre on the swingarm behind the exhaust fixing point. In a fall the foot peg tends to push the fixing bolt against the swingarm (currently now nice and shiny) and leaving scars, the carbon helps save the scars.
