If ya get no joy i'm wondering if it would be worth whipping a caliper bolt out and tipping the caliper? Just a thought as some rear calipers can only be bled this way.
Thanks for all the advice. i have bleed the entire system again and a tiny bit of air was still in the master cylinder. it has improved it slightly but not much. i have tied the lever up and will go back to it tomorrow morning and hopefully it will be better but failing that i will remove the calipers. just as well it isnt really being used at the moment
Tie the lever back to the bar over night. Go back to it in the morning and give it 5 or 6 full pumps and all should be sorted. Works every time for me.
Ahh Bless .... by keeping the M/C open you are letting the trapped air to rise up the lines and escape ... simples
Ok so it will be worth bleeding the master cylinder again then as thats now where all the trapped air will be
so here are a few pics of the new mods, whats your opinion on the number board should i leave the full kit on or just keep the middle part 2012-02-21115459.jpg picture by fez5757 - Photobucket
