I did watch a video which change me from using wd40 to double tt And it seams to work on the bsa forks which go rusty really quick https://www.amazon.co.uk/Double-TT-Maintenance-Spray-600ml/dp/B00499DFLY
Back in the 80s a friend of mine used to put some treacley gear oil (It was amazingly thick) that he got from his employer. His chains lasted forever.
C'mon Bazza, we're talking 40 years ago. I can't remember what I had for my tea. He worked at Brook Motors in Huddersfield. Whatever it was was, he kept it in one of those little tins that knot sealing paint comes in with the built in brush. I keep trying to find him on Facebook so I can ask him, but so far no sign of him on there. He moved to Oz to mine Opel gem stones, and I've never seen or heard of him since. A few months ago I called at the house where he used to live but there was no answer. Bummer. So if you're reading this Dominic Mita, I'm looking for you.
Well good look with that... My experience of Muc off lubes will probably mean half of Norfolk will be covered in cherry fling... Mind you...it'll make a change from cow shit lol
Fair point, @Lozzy . From the NUMEROUS posts on here extolling the merits of 'Wurth', I just cannot understand why anyone would consider anything else. Perhaps it's for @bazzashadow 's BSA? I suspect that won't go fast enough to cause fling!
Nah its for his blade You know bazza......never listens to any of us Pound to a packet of shit he's back on here in a week complaining about it with a lot of at the end of it
It’s for the blade because I don’t go fast enough on that either I like a fling Sorry I like fling, shows I have got my chain lubed And it has got the sh##y Honda chain on it starting to go rusty
