Thanks for all the replies, it will be used for getting to work and back in the nice weather, i like the idea of all torque just picking me up in what ever gear i am in and letting me safely pass the commuters in the cars, i can see the logic of what most of your are saying, i don't rev the nuts off my current 600cc sit up bike so would not do this with the ZX6, I guess the blade is the sensible choice, it really does look a lovely bike and for £6800 it appears a decent price......... if only it were in Repsol colours !!!!

The Blade rise like a 600 with a shit load more power. And is in another league for road riding.

I went to the TT last year with 3 of my mates and they had various 600s and they had to work hard to keep up with me everywhere we went ,motorways on the way there and the mountain course they couldnt get near me . Blade all the way .

I own a 08 Blade and an 03 ZX6 and from someone with current experience of both bikes its the Blade every single time, its been said already but its in a totally different league.

I would put money on it you will not regret chossing the Blade unless of course you have no interest in good handling, braking and warp speed performance LOL !!!!!!!!!

The new ZX6 is in a totally different league to an 03 ZX6 as well i would suggest and to suggest that the ZX6 cant handle, brake or be ridden fast is just stupid

I had read that the new ZX6 is totally different to the previous models, but as said, there is no substitute to cubic capacity i guess.

Fair comment I m sure the new ZX6 is much better than the 03 model, I was just trying to say I prefer the Blade to the 03 ZX6 in case it helped answer the question.

You must of miusunderstood me I never said the "ZX6 cant handle, brake or be ridden fast is just stupid" I meant in humour you won't regret buying the Blade unless you don't like those things, which obviously all sportsbike riders do. Probably a bad jok, I ll get my coat.

Are these HRC colours specific for 2010 ? I have seen an 2008 registered bike with these colours which i thought was not out then .......

Thanks, i thought so, the bike i spotted had the new 2010 colours on it but it was an 08 plated (rr8) bike, i guess if it had been down the road and it was a HRC anyway.... why not upgrade to the latest HRC colours if its going into the bodyshop anyway.... not good.

Because the 08 or 09 colour HRC is the nicest one! And the new colours on an older bike sticks out like a sore thumb!

Possibly, but what would concern me is that someone would go to the expense of repainting a perfectly intact 2008 HRC to 2010 colours !!! Its been down the road would be my thoughts.
