Hmm, wait for Honda to come back to you - i'd steer clear of that one...

It is the same age as mine (2010) but mine only has 1700 miles on the clock.
I wouldn't be happy with a straight swap anyway.
I like the carbon, but i am put off because I know people may be put of it also when I come to sell it.
    It is up for £7999.
I got mine for a bit of a bargain - I traded in my 2008 BUSA plus £1500.

i must admit i,m glad i went for non abs. never had it on a bike before so not missing out and wouldn,t want to be stuck in a dodgy situation with possible brake failure because of some electrical / software gremlin. hope you get the bike and deal you hold out for!!

    I fully agree.
If I don't get anywhere with Honda, I will wait for the right one to come up at my dealers.

I've had no issues and after a daft mistake I'm glad I got ABS as it's saved me once

I don't want to knock ABS or put anyone else off.
This is purely personal due to circumstances experienced.

I know someone that went straight on into the tyre wall at brand because the brake lever went all the way to the bar... and naturally it's hard to lift off the brakes when your heading towards a tyre wall at 100mph+

So for me I would steer away from new technology when its the difference between life or death... infact I did on my blade.

I had a 2009 blade and it used pretty much what honda says in the maintenance book.
