The SP subframe is not supposed to bear over 250 pounds, so if a rider on an SP is 25 stone, that subframe is going to snap right off! lol
I can confirm that as a 90kg rider, a '16 SP can take quite a bit of luggage on a Ventura kit. 20kg to be exact. This puts me bang on the limit shown on the swingarm sticker of 110kg for rider and luggage. This was me coming back from camping at Le Mans for the MotoGP this year. The Ventura is mainly full of sleeping bag and the roll bag is camping gear. Luckily I do a lot of hill walking so am used to minimalist gear. Although clothing was a bit too minimalist as I had to wear my leathers all day in full sunshine.
